Various associations supporting creative professionals have joined forces to organize this upcoming event.

In the days of cassettes, mixtapes showed that songs from different genres and albums fit side-by-side.
Replace songs and genres with creative professionals and their specialties, and that’s the general concept behind Creative Mixtape.
The Dec. 13 networking event is set to be held at Johnny Sanchez inside Horseshoe Casino.

“Much like that magical feeling of closing our eyes and cranking our boomboxes all the way up, amazing things can happen when creatives mix and mingle,” says the announcement, which also indicates the event will feature lots of ’90s slang.
