Philly tech salaries broke $90K for first time in 2013 [Report]

Tech salaries were up all around the country, Dice.com reported, due in part to merit raises.

Roughly 300 job seekers attended NET/WORK, the Technically Philly/Campus Philly jobs fair in February.

2013 was a good year to be a Philadelphia technologist, according to a report.

It was the first time that the average salary for a Philadelphia IT professional broke $90,000, said jobs database Dice.com. The average Philadelphia tech salary was $92,138, up 8 percent from last year.

Tech salaries were up all around the country, Dice.com reported, due in part to merit raises. Salaries for technologists in Atlanta, Charlotte, N.C. and Austin also broke $90,000 for the first time, according to the Dice.com report.
