Attend a free STEM symposium at the Riverfront

Calling all STEM (that’s science, technology, engineering and math) enthusiasts: The Delaware STEM Council is hosting a free STEM symposium from noon to 5 p.m. on Jan. 25 at the Riverfront’s Chase Center.
Afterward, from 5-7 p.m., the 2015 Delaware STEM Educator Award winners will be recognized.
Here’s the schedule for the symposium:
12:30-1:45 p.m.

  • Catalyzing, Communicating, Connecting STEM in Delaware, a roundtable discussion.
  • Developing a STEM program in your school and district, a panel discussion with the 2014 Delaware STEM Award Winners.

2:00-3:15 p.m.

  • STEM – Literacy, Degrees and Workforce Development, a roundtable discussion.
  • Building a culture of Community Learning around STEM, a panel discussion.

3:30-4:45 p.m.

  • The future of STEM in Delaware & the region, a panel discussion.
