401 North Broad Street data centers get $70M in upgrades

The 11-story, 1.3 million square foot building was recently purchased for an undisclosed amount by New York-based real estate investment firm Amerimar Enterprises.

401 North Broad Street, home to one of Wayne-based Sungard Availability Services‘ data centers, is getting $70 million in upgrades, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. Sungard occupies 50 percent of the building, which is also 30 percent vacant, according to the report.
