The Hen Hatch finals are on April 30, and, as usual, it looks like it’s going to be a tough competition.

Hen Hatch is University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship’s annual pitch competition, where students and alumni/faculty/staff entrepreneurs vie for over $100,000 in prizes. Past competitors have gone on to establish themselves as successful Delaware businesses, including Carvertise, SimUCare, TheraV and Nerdit NOW (several of which are past realLIST honorees).

Instead of a boardroom, the Hen Hatch finals take place at The Queen in Wilmington, welcoming the community as a whole to come out and root for their favorite up-and-coming startups.

Here are the student track finalists for 2019:

  • 360VR — A virtual reality and drone solutions company with a focus on intensive analysis of buildings to aid emergency services; you’ve seen their work here on Technical.ly with the Carvertise VR Tour
  • SEWcial Café — A community sewing space for women to create, collaborate and develop handmade products
  • SolveABET — A blockchain accreditation platform that aims to reduce business costs and improve consumer trust
