Zip Code’s next AMA is Sept. 19

Think you're ready for the coding bootcamp? This free session has answers.

Applications are being accepted for Zip Code’s winter cohort, starting in February 2019. How can you increase your chances of getting into the 12-week coding bootcamp? How do you prepare for it? Is it really as intense as they say?

We don’t know, but the Zip Code team will be on hand at The Mill Sept. 19 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to answer any and all questions about the program, the admissions process and need-based scholarships. You can apply right there, if you’re ready.

Zip Code’s bootcamp teaches students from all walks of life software programming with a Java focus. It’s an immersive course that requires a full commitment — you can’t work full-time on the program. But graduates have a 96 percent job placement rate, many as developers with Fortune 500 companies, many doubling or tripling their pre–Zip Code salary.

Competition for the 35–40 spots in each cohort is stiff. Just 11 percent (as of 2017) of applicants are accepted.

So for those that are serious about getting in, the AMA can help you avoid application mistakes and give you a better idea if it’s what you really want.

And it’s free.
