What happens when you combine a brain trust of Baltimore techies and the fervor of a Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl appearance?
Well, someone invariably deciphers Vinepeek.com‘s API and works with a team of Ray Lewis-crazed tech professionals to create a way for fellow Baltimoreans to upload six-second videos of recorded Ravens fanfare and have them all stream to one central location, OBVI.
Download Vine for iOS here.
Enter VineBowl.com, a hack of Vinepeek exactly one week in the making. Vinepeek streams video “Vines” in real-time. Ravens and San Francisco 49ers fans can tag videos they create through the Vine app with #BAL or #SFO, respectively, and those videos will stream incessantly on the proper team mini-site on VineBowl.
For several nights a cadre of people in Baltimore’s tech community has gathered at Federal Hill-based incubator Betamore to hack together the project, which joins LikeBowl.com as a way for Ravens fans to put their football spirit on digital display.
Check out VineBowl.com here. Go to Bal.VineBowl.com for the Ravens-specific site.
