Coliving company QUARTERS is about to become Philly’s new roomie. Owned by Berlin-based company MEDICI LIVING Group, QUARTERS has been bringing the coliving concept (like coworking but with sleepy time) to cities around the U.S. and plans to announce its move to Philly within the first six months of 2019. In D.C. news, The Center for Innovation Technology’s Virginia Founders Fund just invested in Virginia-based Micronic Technologies, a sustainable water purification technology. The fund supports women, minority and veteran founders, such as Micronic’s CEO and Cofounder Karen Sorber, who founded the company after a humanitarian trip to Peru where she saw the impact that living without clean water had on its people. Get in on the good-doing through a Micronic Technologies career or internship.
