A Baltimore web development firm is helping to bring dolls into the next generation.
Simple Information’s latest project was a complete redesign for Theriault’s, a big-name auction house for dolls and childhood items. The ecommerce website is set to get a big influx of traffic: It will be auctioning items from Shirley Temple’s estate in July.
The three-month project was really more than a redesign, as the old site was based on out-of-date technology that was slow and costing the company thousands of dollars in licensing fees each month. The technology was so old Simple Information declined to name it.
The five Simple Information team members and an in-house Theriault’s designer worked together to migrate 150,000 auction items to Drupal, and worked to make the site easier to navigate.
