South Philly web dev firm P’unk Ave is looking for apprentices. That is, would-be developers and designers who care about the work they do.
Apply for the six-month, paid program here. There’s no firm deadline but the two apprentices will start full-time May 1, so give the P’unk Ave team enough time to choose you.
When we say “would-be,” we mean that you might not have all the technical skills yet. That’s less important, said P’unk Ave cofounder Geoff DiMasi. What’s more important is that you have professional experience — someone transitioning careers is perfect — and you share the company’s ideals about doing work that matters.
“We figure we can always teach people the skills,” DiMasi wrote in an email, “but we can’t teach them to want to change the world.”
