In the Technical.ly newsroom, we often ask each other: “Are they ~real~?”
For us, “real” means serious, committed, influential. When we curate our community informed by years of reporting, we call the resulting reporting a RealLIST. In the past that’s exclusively referred to startups on the rise — see Delaware’s such list for 2019 here.
In fall 2019, Technical.ly will introduce its inaugural ReaLIST Engineers, a curated list of influential software developers and technologists building in the First State.
The Technical.ly RealLIST Engineers are among the most influential software developers, architects and technologists impacting their companies and communities. This is a list of the doers — those who commit code, solve problems and build solutions. We’re looking for some who are established and others who are below the radar.
The first honorary RealLIST Engineers will be announced in a special report this fall.
So, how does one get on the RealLIST? First, they get nominated, then all submissions will be vetted by a panel of technologists. In the form below, tell us how the person in mind is influential within their organization or community; how they overcame a specific technical challenge; how this person contributes to educating others on technical issues; and the like.
Note that multiple nominations will not increase the likelihood of being included. And yes, you can nominate yourself. Have at it:
