Philly is the Global MainStage for NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge, a worldwide space tech hackathon that will take place on April 20-21 as part of the third annual Philly Tech Week presented by AT&T.

That means, as NASA Open Gov Community Advocate Ali Llewellyn put it, that Philly will play host to something of a “a mission control for intergalactic space collaborations.” Callowhill GIS shop Azavea is organizing the event locally.
