Play online war game ‘Just Tactics’ and get paid for it

In hopes of developing an online community around the Devon, Pa.-based company's first game, Hit the Sticks plans on giving the first 10,000 players $100 -- once the game reaches 200,000 paid players.

Game developing firm Hit the Sticks launched this month Just Tactics, an online, multiplayer war game, and wants to pay you $100 for playing.

In hopes of developing an online community around the Devon, Pa.-based company’s first game, Hit the Sticks plans on giving the first 10,000 players $100 — once the game reaches 200,000 paid players.

Founder Jordan Brock started Hit the Sticks in 2005 but the company was in brainstorming mode for a few years, he said. Hit the Sticks now has a staff of eight. Brock, 31, lives in Wynnewood and studied art at Kenyon College.
