Fosterly is hosting one of their day-long “Study Halls” today for developers and UX and UI designers. It’s a coworking situation where participants help one another on projects. And the good news? There’s still a few spots left in the 50 person group for you to join.
Today’s Study Hall is hosted by Verizon in their public policy office in downtown D.C. It runs from noon to five this afternoon. Registration is free and open to any UX professionals.

This December Study Hall is the fourth, and final, one Fosterly’s hosting this year. Previous, Study Halls focused on themes such as early stage entrepreneurship and virtual reality. In our previous coverage of these Study Halls, organizer Adam Zuckerman explained how Fosterly structures the events to encourage the exchange of skills, not just business cards.
“This isn’t about networking,” he todl us. “This is about building relationships.”
Can’t make it today? Don’t fret. Fosterly has released their tentative Study Hall Calendar for 2017 with events in Maryland, Virginia and D.C. According to the website, several events will be reserved specifically for women.
