Build accessible wearable tech at the evoHaX hackathon Oct. 23

Accessibility-focused hackathon evoHaX is back for a second round, and this time it’s focused on accessible wearable technology. evoHaX held its first hackathon, geared toward students, during Philly Tech Week 2015.
October’s event is timed with National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
It’ll be held from Oct. 23-25 at Benjamin’s Desk and will also include a panel featuring wearable tech hacker Leslie Birch, developer Austin Seraphin and Independence Blue Cross’s Chief Information Officer, Michael Vennera. The panel will be moderated by this reporter.
While the first evoHaX was geared toward students, this one is for all types of developers. The group is also looking for subject matter experts.
