Heads up, Kent County techies: The second annual Make IT Happen networking event on August 23 from 4-6 p.m.

Designed to build relationships within the tech community in Lower Delaware, the casual event will be held at Frazier’s Restaurant in Dover.

The event will be hosted by the Delaware Foundation for Science and Mathematics Education (DFSME) and Cyber Streets, a Dover mentoring and technology program aimed at kids from low-income urban communities founded by Rob Bentley.

While the event is primarily aimed at computer science and IT professionals in Kent County, networkers from all over Delaware are welcome.
