Baltimore Innovation Week 2017 is striving to be the most accessible tech and entrepreneurship event series, and this year’s Dev Conference is a testament to that. With the support of our formal organizer, the Emerging Technology Center (ETC) and our host sponsor, University of Baltimore, we are able to have a day full of free events that support the dev community on Oct. 5. Here’s the lineup.
We will start off the day with our Dev Intro Workshops. What is this, you ask? Three beginner workshops lead by seasoned developers to get those beginners pumped about code. All of the workshops will happen simultaneously (JavaScript, Ruby and Python), so when your register, choose one language and prep that laptop of yours. If you are an absolute beginner, come to the event, this is a way for you to get that foot in the door.
Onto the next one…bring your dev team and get inspired at Dev Talks. Speakers will shine some light on today’s trending tools, and share their own stories of process and innovation. You’ll hear from some of our sponsors at this event such as Archer Group, 14 West and the City of Baltimore as well as other companies like Yet Analytics and Fearless. I know, you’re excited.
To close out the day, we will literally top it all off with a Dev happy hour. Think: all of the Baltimore Dev community in one place hanging and networking. Sip, sip Hooray.
Again, we cannot put on this event without the support of our sponsors and those also include Alderson Loop LLC and Jarvus Innovations. More details are to come, and man are we excited, but for now, RSVP to reserve that spot.
Before you go...
To keep our site paywall-free, we’re launching a campaign to raise $25,000 by the end of the year. We believe information about entrepreneurs and tech should be accessible to everyone and your support helps make that happen, because journalism costs money.
Can we count on you? Your contribution to the Technical.ly Journalism Fund is tax-deductible.
