Bloomberg Business recently named Delaware the second best state for college grads to get a job. Massachusetts ranked first.
Citing a study fromĀ Georgetown University, author Akane Otani reports that 50 percent of job ads in Delaware specify that companies are seeking college graduates. In the third quarter of 2013, 7,300 job ads were for college graduates.
The biggest jobs to be filled in the state are in software development, computer occupations and financial analysis.
Employers with the biggest online recruiting presence include JPMorgan Chase, Capital One and Christiana Care.
