There are primary elections Sept. 6 and all Delaware public schools will have a day off.
That doesn’t mean the kids get a free day of nothing but playing video games — instead, they can learn how to code games themselves at Code Differently’s one day Pop-Up Youth Coding Experience.

After you vote, drop the kiddos off at Theatre N at 9 a.m. for a full day of game development — half the day spent on coding, the other half spent gaming on the big screen. No prior coding experience is necessary, and kids with coding experience will be grouped together so they’re not just rehashing the basics.
The all-day pop-up costs $75, which includes lunch. The pop-up ends at 4 p.m.
This will be Code Differently’s second pop-up event since launching in July with a mission to “introduce and elevate information technology through hands-on practical instruction.”
