If you’re an Adventure Time fan, you’ll love this one.
Hive76 member Mike Barretta built a real-life BMO, the adorable, dancing Game Boy-esque character on the cult cartoon, and he posted a guide on how to make your own. It’s powered by Raspberry Pi.
Make Magazine recently covered the project. (Hive76, the Callowhill makerspace, will be out in full force during the Philly Tech Week kickoff and you can preview what they’re bringing here.)
Watch Barretta’s BMO in action below.

Here’s one more Philly/Adventure Time fun fact: One of the writers on the show, Jesse Moynihan, is a former Philly-based comic artist. He used to do a comic for Philly Weekly.
