Economic Development in Virginia

In October 2019, Virginia Economic Development Partnership coordinated and paid for a Technical.ly DC reporter to meet tech leaders and visit growth companies throughout Virginia. The goal of this tour was for Technical.ly to better understand the efforts to leverage technology and economic development to tackle the urban-rural divide in places such as Blacksburg, Charlottesville and Lebanon. The following articles are the result of that trip. They were reported independently and were not reviewed by VEDP.
