The short film sits in on a conversation between five Delaware women making names for themselves in the restaurant industry.

We always love seeing new projects from Short Order Production House, and this one (shared by Short Order’s Director of Creative Operations Matt Sullivan on LinkedIn) is worth amplifying.

Women of Hospitality” is a four-and-a-half-minute film made for the Delaware Restaurant Association’s 2019 conference, and it gives some of the state’s successful woman restaurant owners (and one up-and-comer) a platform to discuss the challenges — and microaggressions — that come with the territory.

The film features Carlie Carey of One Coastal Farm + Kitchen, Abundance Child of Drop Squad Kitchen, Lisa DiFebo of DiFebo’s Restaurants, Betsy LeRoy of Pizza by Elizabeth’s and Beatriz Ramirez, a Delaware Pro Start graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
