It’s not just in your head. Halloween is starting earlier than ever this year.

Last Thursday, Starbucks debuted its Pumpkin Spice Latte for the fall season, and Home Depot, Lowe’s and Party City have been featuring Halloween decor online and in stores for months already.

According to retail experts, this is Summerween. With adult audiences more engaged in Halloween, retailers have appropriately adjusted to accommodate buyer interest. That means more pumpkins more often.

Does it feel too early for Halloween? We’ve scared up a new batch of job listings for you below.

Looking to make a bet on a new career? Check out job opportunities at Susquehanna International Group on Technical.ly, including Site Reliability Engineer – VMware/Automation.

“As a trading firm, game theory and probability are key concepts that we use to take calculated risks in the financial markets,” said SIG financial operations analyst Kyle McClintock. “We teach these concepts to our employees and infuse them into our company culture through events that foster curiosity and interest in decision making.

Our annual poker tournament provides the opportunity for employees to hone their skills in an area that our traders encounter every day – making rational decisions with limited information in an environment of uncertainty. All our employees from around the globe are encouraged to play and can even take introductory poker classes taught by our own poker experts before competing in the tournament. This year, a technologist from our Bala Cynwyd office took home the $25,000 grand prize.

Since betting and probability are deeply ingrained concepts at our firm, we take any opportunity to help our employees to learn more about the core tenets of our business and have fun while doing it!”
