Young Involved Philadelphia’s State of Young Philly and law firm Montgomery McCracken, where I work, will be hosting “From Founding to Funding,” a panel discussion amongst local entrepreneurs who will share their experiences and celebrate the growing tech and entrepreneurial community on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Current panelists include Melissa Schipke of Tassl, Brendan Lowry of Curalate, Johnathan Grzybowski of Waterfront Media and Benjamin Fuller of Montgomery McCracken with more panelists expected to be added before the event. I’ll be moderating the panel and leading the discussion on successfully launching a startup, maintaining company culture, raising capital and utilizing the local resources available.
If you’re curious about what makes Philadelphia ideal for startups, you don’t want to miss this event. It’ll be at Montgomery McCracken (123 Broad Street).
RSVP
Directly following the discussion, attendees are invited to network and enjoy refreshments, wine and beer.
State of Young Philly (SOYP) is an annual weeklong event series hosted every fall by Young Involved Philadelphia. This year’s SOYP kicks off Friday. Each year, SOYP brings together over 50 partner organizations, and a thousand young professionals, elected officials and organizational leaders to examine the current state of young Philadelphia and generate change in our beloved city.

This is a guest post by Montgomery McCracken's Ernie Holtzheimer.
