In the chilly lobby of the Union Transfer concert venue on Spring Garden Street, staff from Hubub Coffee just kept pouring free cups of their best during NET/WORK, the local tech jobs fair Technical.ly Philly organized last week.
More than 350 people came through to meet with nearly 40 companies, get headshots taken by local photography star Neal Santos and hear professional and development presentations.
Thank you for coming and expect NET/WORK to become an annual event, if not more often, and expand into other creative and knowledge worker roles after this success. We also wanted to again thank our bigger partners:
- 50onRed: Sponsor of the Coworking Cafe, where members of the Indy Hall community and others got work done during the day.
- Campus Philly and Bentley: Event partners and Expert Hub organizers, where attendees dropped in for career advice and professional development
- Chariot Solutions: Sponsor of the Neal Santos-led headshot booth where attendees got free head shots by the local photographer (and one of the city’s favorite Instagram accounts)
- Monetate: Happy Hour sponsor, as they paid the tab for free local beer and catering by food trucks, Spot Burger and Street Food
