SnipSnap users have snipped 10M coupons since launch one year ago [Startup Roundup]

WHO’S GETTING FUNDED?

First Round Capital led a $5.9 million series A round for Upstart, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based funding platform for backing people, TechCrunch reported. The firm previously invested in a seed round for Upstart.

Center City-based TicketLeap raised $675,000, according to an SEC filing.

InDimension3, a 3D printer manufacturer that lists Berwyn as its SEC filing address, raised $2.4 million, according to an SEC filing. InDimension3 appears to be a Julip Run Capital portfolio company, as they share the same address and many of the same board members. The company demoed at the March Philly Tech Meetup.

WHO’S MAKING MOVES?

SnipSnap, the Callowhill couponing app, has seen 10 million coupons “snipped” since its launch one year ago, CEO Ted Mann announced at Mobile Monday this week. In other Mobile Monday-related news, Old City’s Artisan Mobile won the demo event.
