NewSpring Capital was behind a major infusion of capital into a later-stage, Baltimore-founded cybersecurity firm: LookingGlass.
The Radnor firm with offices in Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Chicago led LookingGlass’s Series C, investing $22 million in a $50 million round. LookingGlass used the money in part to acquire a Northern Virginia-based company Cyveillance.

Also of note: As with LookingGlass, NewSpring generally invests in later-stage companies, but it recently backed an earlier-stage company sales software startup in Conshohocken called Journey Sales, participating in its $3.35 million Series A.
