When Happy Cog grew out of its 13th Street office, it moved just a couple hundred feet away to the Philadelphia Building at 13th and Walnut Street.

The design agency that has offices in Austin and New York City now has a 7,200 square foot space on the second floor of the building that also houses web dev firms Zivtech and Eight Eleven, as well as coworking space Cultureworks and up until recently, RJMetrics. (Couponing startup SnipSnap is now in the building that Happy Cog left.) Happy Cog moved in on Labor Day weekend last summer.

The company worked with Goldman Properties, who owns the Philadelphia Building and the building that Happy Cog used to inhabit, and Canno Design to build the space from scratch, said CEO Greg Hoy.

Features include:

  • a farmhouse table that fits all 24 employees and could host a small meetup
  • a life-size videoconferencing setup which links the Philly office to Happy Cog’s Austin office in 1080p HD. “Our status meeting every morning looks like the entire company of 34 is sitting at one long table,” Hoy wrote in an email.
  • a 12 speaker SONOS audio system
  • a 30-light Philips Hue lighting system
  • a fully equipped Podcast/production studio
  • a comprehensive device testing lab
