Code for DC is under new leadership

Formerly led by a pair of co-captains, the brigade will now be helmed by six civic hacking enthusiasts.

Code for DC, the District-based chapter of Code for America, announced new leadership at a meeting on Monday night.
Until recently the civic hacking group that meets bi-monthly was led by co-captains Justin Grimes and Steven Reilly. Now it has a bunch more captains.
These include Sravanthi KadaliMichael KalishTerry Creamer, Lizzie EllisKelli Shewmaker and DataLensDC founder Kate Rabinowitz.

Code for DC’s next hacknight will be held on March 28 at Impact Hub in Chinatown — stop by to do some hacking, say hello and congratulate all the new leaders.
Remember — you needn’t be an avid coder to be a valuable voice in the room.
