This week: An evening of civic hacking, a morning on how Philly is fighting brain drain and an afternoon inside the creative processes of SEER Interactive and Bluecadet.

Campus Philly Annual Meeting: Hear about what Campus Philly is calling the region’s growth as a “brain magnet.” Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. WHYY, 150 N. Sixth St. Old City. RSVPFree.

Civic Apps Workshop #8: It’s not too late to get in on the civic hacking action at Devnuts. Hackers will be focusing on the myPhillyRising app challenge and deploying LocalWiki in Philly, among other projects. Thursday, 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Devnuts, 908 N. 3rd St. RSVPFree.

Creative Open House: SEER Interactive & Bluecadet: SEER Interactive and Bluecadet will share their creative processes in the first event in a three-part series organized by the Chamber of Commerce. Indy Hall‘s Alex Hillman will moderate. Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. SEER Interactive, 1028 N. 3rd St. RSVP. $25.
