IRL networking beats online job hunting

In total,’s annual job fair saw about 250 attendees this year as part of Philly Tech Week 2024. That’s a feat considering how much the job market is changing. took the opportunity to ask attendees what value an in-person job fair still has. From looking for their first opportunity in tech to simply seeing what the market looks like, here’s what they said.
