Delaware Tech Forum revisits AI’s impact
In March 2023, Tech Forum held the first AI in DE event at Theatre N, featuring speakers from the public, private, nonprofit and education sectors. I came away from that event, just a few months after the public launch of ChatGPT, with a new realization of how much AI was used in industry safety, traffic monitoring and data science.
The second AI in DE event will happen on May 22, and moderator Patrick Callahan of LabWare gave me some of his thoughts about what’s changed in this rapidly evolving technology and what to expect this year.
BLK ED Network fights racial leadership gaps
Alanah Nicole Davis took a look at the nonprofit racial leadership gap. She talked to Jade Merritt, a two-time founder and undergrad alum of Temple University, who created The BLK ED Network in 2021 to address it.
“Oftentimes, Black-led organizations, we don’t have the opportunity to sit with funders,” said Merritt.
