Join a team of skilled Business Intelligence professionals dedicated to ensuring the success of Indeed’s Growth Marketing team. Our team works with Growth senior leadership to identify opportunities for marketing investment, assess the best methods for measuring marketing campaign effectiveness, drive A/B testing, and create interactive dashboards for visualizing performance.
We are the experts on Marketing’s data and the go-to people for disseminating consistent, actionable insights to business leaders. Our position within the company requires us to interact with technical and business leaders across Indeed, enabling marketers to optimize their efforts using data and communicate Marketing’s impact on Indeed’s bottom line.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop insights Indeed can use to optimize strategies and products by building reports, dashboards, decision-optimization tools, and visualizations (using a combination of tools including Python, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, and other home-grown data structures and tools)
* Understand your business partners’ priorities, the metrics that are the most important to them, and how they measure their performance to turn business requirements into technical requirements
* Explore and utilize statistically sound testing/measurement methodologies to analyze large-scale incrementality tests (A/B test, Geo test, etc.)
* Identify the correct and best data sources for a given analysis and develop metrics that most effectively measure the impact of marketing investment
* Build relationships across teams to leverage and extend existing analytical research
* Present solutions to business partners (non-technical audiences) and solicit constructive feedback
* Learn from and share knowledge and skills with your teammates to grow the Marketing Analytics team’s total impact on the organization
*Skills/Competencies*
* 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and/or data science; marketing analytics experience preferred
* 5+ years of experience writing complex and optimized SQL queries across large data sets
* 5+ years of experience solving problems programmatically and using Python and/or other languages to transform and integrate data from SQL databases, APIs, unstructured and big data sources
* 5+ years of experience using Tableau or other visualization platforms to create inviting, intuitive, insightful, and interactive dashboards
* Solid oral and written communication skills, and comfortable presenting to everyone from entry-level employees to senior vice presidents
* Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes and the ability to assess the quality of data and to document caveats and assumptions
* Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment and a passion for data, visualization, and solving problems
*Education Requirement*: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field

US Remote 99,000 - 139,000 USD per year
Austin 99,000 - 139,000 USD per year
NYC Metro Area 114,000 - 160,000 USD per year

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
