Sr. Product Architect (Money Transfer Products)

What you'll be doing:
Developing payment processing applications related to ACH, OCT, SEND and FedNow and provide technical direction to the team.
Hands on technical Development, Architecture and Design.
Ensure that we are continually evolving and creating a suite of leading-edge products that are highly competitive payment environments.
Responsible for budgeting and forecasting of all related engineering and development activities
Design, manage and execute software development initiatives.
Setting strategic software development direction and ensuring the selection of the right technologies and development languages to meet the business’s challenges and the proper implementation of those technologies.
Work cross-functionally to ensure the success of the team.
Define and maintain departmental standards and influence team culture
Assist QA and Support staff in troubleshooting software defects.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
What we need from you:
5+ years of engineering and application development management experience
10+ years of development experience, leading large hands-on development initiatives. Must be passionate about technology and have experience in how to apply the latest technology to further the company’s business goals
Must have superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities, as well as a keen attention to details
Must have technical knowledge of the latest technologies for mobile, web, and operational application development
Must have technical knowledge and experience with ACH, OCT, SEND and FedNow
Must have proven a success at deploying customer-driven product development.
Must demonstrate the ability to derive technical specifications from stated business requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
Must have at least 3-5 years of payment processing experience.
A strong track record of technology leadership and experience in Test Driven Development
Must have hands on development leadership experience in C, C++, and Oracle technologies
The ability to articulate a vision/plan across an enterprise and gain endorsement
As part of the Senior Engineering team, ensure that the ability to generate accurate reporting is designed and deployed within our Architecture and security standards.
