As a member of the infrastructure team, the M365 System Engineer position is responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation, management, support of various Microsoft 365 applications and services to enhance productivity and collaboration, and security across Road Scholar’s environment. Responsible for technical oversight and administration to move on-prem apps and data to M365/Azure. Diagnoses problems and provides recommendations for improvements on existing and new systems. Core technologies include Exchange, OneDrive and SharePoint.

Road Scholar offers a remote-first work environment. The compensation range for this exempt level salaried position is $75,000 - $105,000.

You will...

Primary administrator of the M365 application suite
Provide end-to-end service support for Microsoft 365 services
Work with a team to design and complete migration strategies from on-premises environment to M365 cloud services
Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions within the M365 environment
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of M365 services
Microsoft Intune administration
SharePoint Administration and site design
Participate in the development and maintenance of infrastructure configuration, documentation, processes, standards, and procedures
Design integration of cloud application and infrastructure services into existing IT systems
Perform system backups and recovery
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance M365-related issues

You need...

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Information Technology or Microsoft Certifications
4+ years’ proven experience in deploying, configuring, and administering Microsoft 365 applications and services
In-depth knowledge of M365 services such as Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Teams
Experience with PowerShell scripting and management of M365 environments
On-prem, cloud networking and hybrid cloud experience
In-depth knowledge of information security best practices, data protection, and compliance requirements within M365 services
Experience supporting MS Teams
Able to identify, prioritize, and solve complex system and application related problems
Virtualization technologies related to applications, servers, and storage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in fast paced complex and dynamic environment
Able to effectively work with Managed Services technology providers and vendors.
Experience with Jira & Confluence a plus
Perform other duties as required
