The successful candidate will join a high caliber team of professionals in the IT Member/Group Department, and be responsible for advancing the programming, analysis, and reporting needs of the Department.

Under limited supervision, provides specialized, professional level support in areas of advanced complexity such as system analysis and design techniques to produce innovative solutions addressing complex business objectives. Must be customer-focused, have the ability to work on multiple projects at once, and have proven experience in supporting applications and business processes. The ideal candidate will have experience performing application development and support activities in multiple environments and technologies. Writes, tests, and troubleshoots code of advanced complexity, including the development of custom stored procedures, packages, triggers, and complex reporting queries. Serves as the primary technical resource for implementing and maintaining applications. Provides technical leadership on implementation and operational support activities.

The successful candidate should have demonstrated experience and a proven track record in the following:

Superior experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, packages, triggers and views for programming, development, and reporting
Technical experience in Facets, HealthRules Payer or other Healthcare or Claims Processing Systems is a plus
Familiar with Jiva system and data models is also desired
Experience with ETL processes and the use of an Operational Data Store (ODS)
familiar with designing SSRS reports using visual studio
Java development skills desired
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in related technical/business area plus 2 years of IT or business experience. 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree

Responsibilities:
Provides detailed support for definition/refinement of business requirements and for quality assurance/acceptance testing efforts
Designs, develops, tests and debugs software components of moderate complexity
Provides implementation, production and upgrade support for software components of moderate complexity
May act as supporting liaison between the application team and the user community, responsible for facilitating communications, coordinating system enhancements, and providing production support.
Works with user community to define business requirements in sufficient detail and define business use cases that systems configuration, development/enhancement, and/or Operations activities can be pursued.
Develops internal IT, user and Operations documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance.
