Day to Day

As the Senior Director of Product for match Discovery, you will play a key role in helping job seekers find jobs. You will be responsible for identifying and incubating innovative product initiatives that leverage the latest techniques in Search, Matching, and Generative AI to help job seekers discover jobs.

You will be leading a functional group of Product Managers directly, while partnering with engineering, UX, and science teammates to redefine the experience of job seekers and employers on Indeed’s marketplace. You will manage these teams by establishing a vision and a portfolio of short, medium, and long-term investments that are aligned with Indeed’s strategy.

Your team will augment existing Indeed products, develop new job seeker experiences, and rethink what hiring could be when leveraging the latest techniques.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the vision for Match Discovery at Indeed.
Be a dynamic leader defining and driving Indeed’s search, match and generative AI strategy.
Manage and grow a team of product managers. Hire exceptional talent into Indeed, who are great at operating in a fast-paced early innovation cycle.
Build a roadmap and define execution strategies with the team by utilizing data, user research, and business priorities.
Collaborate with Senior Leadership to gain buy-in, support, and funding for new product innovations.
Build relationships and partnerships with people and teams across the company, and align on strategy, vision, and execution.
Define metrics to measure the success of the features your team builds. Possess a drive for velocity, be adaptable, and demonstrate an ability to take a big idea and distill it into a clear and consistent plan that’s backed by data.

Skills/Competencies

Product management or equivalent experience in maintaining portfolios of teams and products.
10+ years managing product managers, with a deep commitment to coaching, mentoring, and growing future leaders.
Knowledge of machine learning platforms (especially LLMs), familiarity with data infrastructure, and knowledge of cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Setting and articulating clear visions, balancing hard trade-offs, and identifying the bigger picture in terms of product direction and business goals are essential.
Proven relationship-building experience to engage with and influence various collaborators, from developers to business directors.
Effective collaboration with remote and global teams, and excellent written and oral communication in English.

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
