Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled Sr System Engineer for our Network Operations Team to design, implement, manage, and support our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, network management, and cloud technologies. This person will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure to support our growing business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design and Implementation
Deep knowledge of virtualization clustering (Hyper-V and ESXi)
Networking expertise – WAN/LAN/iSCSI
Storage Infrastructure knowledge (Storage Spaces Direct, Azure Stack HCI, HPE Nimble SAN)
System Administration
Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
VMWare ESXi
Microsoft Hyper-V
CentOS/Ubuntu
Cloud Technology Management
Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure
Azure/Intune tenant configuration and management
Azure SaaS and hosting
DevOps Infrastructure
Docker containers
Git repository experience
Python Flask frameworks
Infrastructure automation systems (Ansible, etc.)
Senior Technical Lead
Coordinate and work major issue resolution
Act as a senior escalation point for internal and client-facing issues
Assist in development and planning for long term team goals and deliverables
Collaboration and Documentation:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers and IT support.
Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide training and support to internal teams as needed.

Education, Skills, and Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as Sr Systems Engineer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of system administration, network protocols, and security best practices.
Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
Certifications such as CCNP, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
