HireArt is helping an established AI company pioneering new approaches to data development find AI Data Annotators with a Math background.

In this role, you’ll label, categorize, and evaluate data to train machine learning models. This includes tasks annotating objects in images, tagging pieces of text, or generating/evaluating multiple-choice questions to support AI models that depend on high-quality labeled data for accuracy.

We are seeking people who can maintain a high level of attention-to-detail while completing tasks that take 10-40 minutes to complete. This is an excellent opportunity for people interested in contributing to AI advancements and can lead to engagement on other projects in the future.

Responsibilities:
Tasks will change project to project, but typically fall into the following buckets of work:

- Multimodal data annotation: Accurately label and tag data, including images and text, following provided guidelines.
- Multiple-choice question generation: Create clear and high-quality questions for educational or AI training purposes.
- Quality assurance: Review and verify your annotations to ensure consistency and correctness across datasets.
- Data processing: Handle large volumes of data, ensuring tasks are completed within project deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.

- Bachelor's Degree or higher with a major related to Math
- Attention to detail: Precision is crucial, as incorrect labeling can impact the performance of machine learning models.
- English proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for generating content and annotating text-based data.
- Self-motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Data literacy: Experience or familiarity with handling and processing various types of data is preferred.
- Technical aptitude: Comfort with basic software tools, spreadsheets, or annotation platforms is beneficial.

Commitment: This is an independent contract position staffed via HireArt. This role will be remote and is available for U.S.-based candidates who can ideally work between 10 and 40 hours per week. Workers will be able to set their own schedule.
