We’re exploring Maryland cybersecurity in October 2018. Here’s how to submit story ideas

It's part of our monthly Editorial Calendar. Here's how to get involved.

With Technical.ly’s Editorial Calendar, we explore a different topic each month that’s relevant to Baltimore’s tech community.
For the month of October, Technical.ly’s theme is cybersecurity, and we’ll be publishing a series of stories on startups and technologists from the cybersecurity community in the Baltimore area.
Maryland has long been a source of new technology and ideas for the industry. With events like the recent initial public offering from Columbia-based Tenable, it’s becoming more clear that the cybersecurity community in Maryland will have an impact on the region’s economic future. Throughout the month, our coverage will look to profile individuals, provide resources and identify the indicators that point to a trend about what’s next.
Ahead of October, we’re looking to get the community involved. There are a couple of ways you can let us know about a story worth telling.
First, share a story idea. Have a conversation that keeps coming up? Know of an interesting company or technologist? How about an alarming new threat or an approach to addressing one? Tell us about it in the form linked below.
Pitch us a story
Want to write a story? Each month, we also look to publish guest posts on our Editorial Calendar topics. Send us a pitch in the form, or get in touch here.
Submit a pitch by Oct. 15.
And stay tuned for stories on Sciences coming up later in September.
