With the city under curfew, an event to announce the winners of the InvestMaryland Challenge was cancelled for Tuesday night, according to the state Department of Business and Economic Development. The event, which recognizes the winners of the state’s startup competition, will be rescheduled.

Meanwhile, AccelerateBaltimore’s Demo Day is scheduled to proceed as planned on Wednesday night at the Emerging Technology Centers’ Highlandtown campus. The event, which showcases the work of companies in the ETC-run accelerator, is scheduled for 5 p.m.
TechBreakfast was also held as normal on Wednesday at DLA Piper in North Baltimore.
Technical.ly is postponing an event it had scheduled for this week. A community planning session for Baltimore Innovation Week 2015 has been rescheduled to May 13.
Wednesday’s Baltimore Women in Computing meetup was also postponed on Wednesday. The talk and forum, focusing on Unconscious Bias, was rescheduled for May 11 at the new AOL/Advertising.com space in Natty Boh Tower.
Ignite Baltimore 16, which was scheduled for Thursday night at MICA, has also been postponed. A make-up date was not immediately set.
