Dr. Brandi Baldwin, CEO of Millennial Ventures, a Philadelphia- and Charlotte, North Carolina-based organization that helps diverse leasers build startups, will deliver the keynote on the summit’s theme: “Together We Rise.”

Additional speakers will include:

  • Michelle Taylor, president and CEO of United Way Delaware, on supporting women in making a collective impact
  • Krista Kondravy, VP of operations at Starbucks and JLW member, on developing a leader mindset
  • Melanie Ross Levin, Delaware director of the Office of Women’s Advancement and Advocacy, on effective communication and negotiation for career advancement

The summit will take place at the Double Tree Wilmington on Concord Pike from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This initiative raises awareness about “period poverty,” defined as a lack of access to sanitary products due to a lack of financial stability and resources, which can cause people with menstrual cycles to miss school or work and make it difficult to become financially stable.
