The country’s only South Asian American Digital Archive, a nonprofit run out of Center City’s Cultureworks coworking space, is raising $30,000. It’s not a crowdfunding campaign — there are no “perks,” so to speak. It’s just a good old-fashioned pledge drive.

“SAADA creates a more inclusive society by documenting, preserving, and sharing stories that reflect the unique and diverse experiences of South Asian Americans,” reads the site.
