- Women in Tech Summit [Saturday, April 20, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.] The second annual event, focused on empowering women in tech, will feature workshops and talks on UX, Cloud, Mobility, App Development, Security Social and Big Data.
- Philly Robotics Expo 2013 sponsored by Drexel University [Monday, April 22, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.] Organized by the RoboLancers, Central High School‘s robotics team, this student-focused event shows off robots built by students across the city.
- Blackout: Reinventing Black Media in the Digital Age [Monday, April 22, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.] Hear from three African-American owned local media companies – Wilco Electronic Systems, the Philadelphia Tribune and 900AMWURD – and their struggles to stay relevant in light of the digital divide. Federal Communications Commissioner Mignon Clyburn will keynote.
- Getting Underserved and Minority Youth Access to STEM [Tuesday, April 23, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.] Learn how four organizations (TechGirlz, NAVSEA, STEMasium, Urban Youth Racing School) are engaging underserved and minority youth in STEM.
