The Baltimore Legal Hackers Meetup is hosting a panel of experts who are using tech to help more people get legal help in Maryland.
The February 28 event, which will be held at the University of Baltimore Law School, features a trio of speakers who “will share their experiences improving the Maryland court system, increasing understanding of local laws for self-represented litigants, and providing easier ways for low-income people to find an attorney,” according to the event description. Other topics include inmate access to online resources, and organization and planning for new tools.

- Pam Ortiz, Director, Access to Justice Department of the Maryland Courts.
- Leland Sampson, Content Administrator, Maryland People’s Law Library.
- Joseph Mack, Executive Director, Civil Justice, Inc.
