On Sunday, Nov. 5, women who are industry leaders, decision makers and business owners will descend on the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana in Newark for the Mascara & Mimosas Girlfriend Business Brunch.
Event founders Amber Shader and Stefanie Roselle started Mascara & Mimosas as a no-pressure networking event for women.
“Our mission is to build a girl army of women in Delaware who empower and inspire each other,” they say in the event description. “We believe in collaboration and celebration vs. competition and comparison. We want to celebrate being women leaders and business owners vs. molding ourselves to fit into the ‘boys club’ culture.”
Attendees are encouraged to wear attire in pink, black and gold, the colors of the Mascara & Mimosas logo.
Tickets for the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. event are $40, including a brunch buffet and mimosas.
