GW’s New Venture Competition plans to award $300K to startups

The finals are set for April 19. Nine startups will pitch.

George Washington University is set to award more than $300,000 in funding and support to startups connected to the university community next month.

The GW Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is set to hold the finals of its New Venture Competition on April 19.

In all nine startups are set to pitch across tech and social entrepreneurship.

It’s the tenth edition of the competition, and will be held at the university’s Jack Morton Auditorium. To participate, startups must have at least one member of the team currently enrolled at GW. It brings together a mix of undergrad and graduate students. Teams are currently going through semifinals:
