Startups! Get free office space at the new 1776NY

1776 is looking for startups in fintech, smart cities, and more.

Brooklyn’s newest entry into the coworking game is 1776, an incubator and seed fund and coworking space opening up in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
1776 is offering startups free coworking space through August of 2017 via its Startup Fellowship program. Winning startups will also have access to talks and mentorship at the space, in addition to a curated network of fellow startups (and free lunch!)
According to 1776, it’s giving preference to startups working in energy, health, education, fintech, smart cities or transportation and those which have a minimum viable product with at least some early paying customers.
