Hopefully you’ve already heard, but Delaware Innovation Week 2016 presented by 1313 Innovation is happening for the second year from Nov. 11 to Nov. 19!
We’re thrilled to be bringing back the Delaware Innovation Awards. This officially makes it an annual awards celebration where we get to honor some of the best and brightest in the Delaware tech and innovation community so, yeah, it’s kind of a big deal.
We’ll host the awards ceremony to close #DIW16 (we’re still waiting to finalize a date but it’ll definitely be at the end of the week, so keep it clear on your calendar!). It’ll be a celebration of epic proportion: fun tech to play with, live entertainment and an inclusive awards ceremony full of yummy food, drinks and of course, wonderful people.
In the meantime, we want to hear from you.
Who should win a Delaware Innovation Award? Our 13 categories include Tech Community Organizer of the Year, Design/Dev Firm of the Year and Community Group of the Year. You can also suggest other categories.
Keep these questions in mind:

  • Who had a big impact in the past year?
  • What individuals greatly impact the future and growth of the region?
  • What products shone light on the creative talent that exists in Delaware?

Give it some thought.
This is your chance to submit nominees for each category before the finalists are announced. Submit your nominations by Oct. 17 for a chance to be selected.
