Don’t worry, you can still dial 2-1-1 within the 302 area code and access the resources of Delaware 211.

But if, like a lot of people today, you’re more likely to use a tech platform than your smartphone’s actual phone to find health and social services resources, note that the longtime United Way of Delaware service will now also be part of Unite Delaware.

What’s Unite Delaware? It’s a digital health network that uses the Unite Us technology platform, launched in 2020 by ChristianaCare. Delaware 211 joins Beebe Healthcare as a network partner, meaning that all of Delaware 211’s vast referral network, including health screenings, mental health resources and legal childcare, will be accessible through Unite Delaware’s collaborative ecosystem.

Through the platform, community members can fill out a “get help” form. Once reviewed, they will receive referrals from throughout the network according to their needs, with every digital interaction and outcome tracked by Unite Us, allowing the referrer and care team to receive updates.

Network providers that join Unite Delaware (for free) also have the benefit of network resources. Read more about the platform at ChristianaCare News.
